FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is Life On Mars Therapy?

No. It’s not therapy, and it doesn’t replace medical or psychological care. But it can support your emotional well-being, offer new perspectives, and help you feel more connected to yourself. Think of it as a guided exploration into what's possible, with a little cosmic twist.

Do I need any experience to do this?

Not at all. These sessions are designed to meet you right where you are — whether you’re brand new to inner work or have decades of practice. Just bring your curiosity (and maybe a cup of  coffee or tea).

Why Mars?

The name of this site was inspired by the TV series Life on Mars, where detective Sam Tyler wakes up after a car accident to find himself living in another time. Throughout the series, he struggles to understand how he got to this nightmarish place — and how he can get back home, even though his life back home was anything but happy.    Along the way, he faces confusion, self-doubt, and the unnerving fear that he’s losing his mind.

Life on Mars is a metaphor for the uncomfortable places we find ourselves in life.  It's usually only when we look back some time later that we realize this was the place we needed to be.

Similarly,  Sam discovers that this strange new world holds unexpected beauty — and is  the key to discovering who he truly is.

Earth can be a bit much sometimes. But when you land on “Mars” you come to understand that its really all been an illusion; and you can give yourself permission to step outside your usual rules, roles, and routines — where you can look at things with fresh eyes and an open heart.  It’s not about escaping your reality, it’s about realizing the existence of new possibilities within that reality - and  bringing them into existence.

You Haven't Mentioned The Cost

Take a deep breath — this might surprise you. On Mars, we do things differently. You pay what you can comfortably afford. No pressure, no catch, and definitely no hidden agenda. I'm retired, I love this work, and being of service matters more to me than a price tag. If it feels right for you, that’s enough.

Most people are fine with using paypal - but if that doesn't work for you please let me know and we'll find a way that does.

So...is it by donation?

Not exactly. You simply pay what you can afford — $20 Australian gets you in - but if you can't afford that, just pay what you can afford.  Choose what is comfortable — your presence is always valued above payment.  It’s not about donations, it’s about accessibility. These are self-growth programs: simple, soulful, and perfectly imperfect. You’ll learn powerful tools, have a few laughs, and maybe even surprise yourself.

What if it doesn’t work for me?

That’s a fair question.  I want you to be completely satisfied  and if you're not, your fee will be refunded.  These programs aren’t magic pills — but they can be surprisingly powerful if you give them some space. You don’t have to believe in anything, just be open to what comes up.  Healing and change don’t always arrive with fireworks. Sometimes, they unfold quietly over time.

Why workships? are these sessions or workshops?

A Workship is my way of describing your expeience.  I think of them as individiual sessions in workshop form - within a safe container that's heading for the stars .

1. Each workship is a complete session where you receive personal support for change. Workships  last around 2 hours. However, because its adapted to your individual needs a second session may be required in order to cover the issue you are wanting to address.

2. Each workship is also a complete workshop in that it is built on a framework that provides a container for you to experience new life skills -  so  the learning is immediate and experiential and we dont move on until you get it.
